Multi-Course Breakfast
We feature three indulgent food experiences at Adele Turner. In the morning, our multi-course, gourmet breakfast, and in the afternoon, our internationally acclaimed tea service, followed by our one-of-a-kind wine and food tastings on the weekends. All are complimentary, available to guests only.
BREAKFAST Enjoy a refined seasonal menu with mulitple entreé choices plus breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, granola, fresh baked muffins and breads. House specialties include our signature dish, Eggs Newport, a seaside gastronomic twist on breakfast classic Eggs Benedict, with crab cakes replacing the Canadian bacon and English muffin; decadent stuffed French Toast and buttermilk pancakes; and on the lighter side, fresh berry crepes. All guest favorites.
Our all organic Legendary Coffee is roasted and blended exclusively for us daily by nearby neighbor Custom House Coffee -- Rhode Island's top artisinal coffee roaster. The Legendary Blend is a medium-dark, sustainably-grown, all-organic Latin American combination of mountain-grown Colombian and Peruvian beans. There are rich, smooth notes of caramel, chocolate, and lemon.
Enjoy breakfast fireside in our intimate Victorian parlor or weather permitting, on the veranda or outdoor garden tables. Newspapers are available each morning in the parlor. Breakfast is served 8 - 10 am.

AFTERNOON TEA "Sumptuous" is how Frommer's guidebooks have described both our afternoon high tea, and our weekend wine and food tastings. The wine tastings feature the best wines from New England's Coastal Wine Trail, paired with regional cheeses and other foods.
Our high tea is an epicurean delight you won't soon forget. Silver and porcelain tiers hold an array of sweets and savories that change daily. Tea sandwiches might include salmon and capers, egg and cavier, pesto with tomato and mozzarella, cucumber and radish, cranberry and pear chutney, or crab with lemon zest. Sweets include artisan chocolates, cookies, brownies, pies, fruit tarts and cakes. Plus, we always feature fresh scones with Devonshire Cream, handmade English marmalades and fruit butter curds.
Our Legendary Newport Tea is hand blended exclusively for us by America's preeminent master tea blenders, Harney and Sons. The connoisseur blend combines 3 of the world's finest single estate black teas to produce a truly elegant cup of tea.
Afternoon Tea is served from 4:30 - 5:30pm in the parlor. On the weekends, our wine and food tasting follows tea. During warmer months, both events may also be enjoyed on the veranda and outdoor garden tables.
